What is a DTF Heat Transfer?

DTF (Direct To Film) is a new technology that reflects the shift toward the digitalization of textile printing. Developed since 2020, DTF printing closely resembles DTG (Direct To Garment) but it prints on a special film.

The production process of these specialized films allows the film to become a heat-applied DTF transfer.

The DTF transfer process allows the craftsperson to have a large variety of colors available. DTF transfers have proven to be durable, looking fresh and bright after more than 50 washes with no diminishment due to fading or cracking. The DTF transfer process allows quality production on all fabrics, including 100% cotton, cotton blends, silks, synthetics, and polyesters, allowing the craftsperson the choice of almost any fabric.
